 First Aid

First tip, avoid hot sun and crowds this summer. Since it is an emergency, its treatment also needs to be quick. The first thing to do in such a situation is to cool down the patient and move him to an open or empty space. If you are wearing heavy clothes, change them to light cotton clothes. Administer cool air, if necessary take to hospital emergency department.

It will take a few days for the patient to recover depending on the severity or type. If not treated properly, heat stroke can cause long-term damage to the patient's brain, muscles, kidney and other organs. Experts advise not to do anything to lower the body temperature but to emphasize the intake of water or liquid food.

Tips for children and adults

Although heat stroke is the same for people of all ages, it is important to watch out for the elderly and children separately. Care should be taken that their body does not become dehydrated in any way. As children aged 1-2 years cannot talk about their physical difficulties. So they have to give water or syrup frequently on hot days. Body temperature should not be allowed to rise too much. They should be kept in the open or in a place with plenty of air.

Open spaces should be chosen for the elderly as well as children. Those who have problems with diabetes should be given water, bottled water instead of syrup or sweet juice.

You or I can get heat stroke anytime this summer. We can easily save ourselves from this situation if we know the immediate prevention or countermeasures. May Allah keep us all healthy . Amin .
