Shanta's team will take the field against Sri Lanka early on Saturday (June 8). Tiger captain does not think about the opponent before entering the field in their first match in the World Cup. Rather calm worried about the top order.

Bangladesh senior cricket reporter Sajid Mustahid told BBC Bangla, "It was thought that the Bangladesh cricket team would be in a bit of a negative position after the series loss to America. But this loss is not showing any impact on the team."
"Shant is trying to tie the team together. But he can't do it like Mashrafe or Shakib, he is trying like them," he said.
Bangladesh cricket team is actually doubtful about their own ability now.
Those who are supposed to be doing well are playing very simple cricket again and again and no new ones are coming in their place, which is actually pushing the team to a weaker position.
However, before taking the field against the Lankans, Shanta spoke about the opposition. There he said, 'There is always an expectation from the fans and everyone wants us to play good cricket. That place will be there and we also want to play good cricket and give a good match to the people of Bangladesh. But the important thing is how we use our plan in that match and whether we play according to the strength we have.
